The Role
As Practice Manager, you will own the smooth day to day running of the clinic. You will lead and develop the team, deliver an outstanding patient experience, keep us fully compliant, and drive the commercial performance of the business. You will work closely with the owner and clinical team, with real scope to influence how the practice grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and team development: recruit, manage and develop the team, with clear communication, training and performance management that builds a high performing culture.
- Patient care and experience: ensure every patient receives exceptional care, overseeing appointments, treatment coordination and patient feedback to keep improving the patient journey.
- Commercial performance: manage budgets, control costs and deliver strategies that meet and exceed financial targets, including stock control and supplier relationships.
- Compliance and quality: maintain full compliance with CQC, GDPR and health and safety standards, leading clinical governance, audits and quality improvement.
- Technology and innovation: make the most of modern systems such as Dentally and our digital tools to improve efficiency and patient care.
- Relationships: build strong relationships with patients, the team, suppliers and external regulators.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in dental practice management.
- Strong leadership skills, with a talent for inspiring and developing a team.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and financial targets.
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations, including CQC, GDPR and health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills across both patient and team conversations.
- Confident IT skills, ideally including dental software such as Dentally.
