Location: Any BBC UK office (Hybrid)
Proposed Salary Range: £75,000 - £85,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role operates the services, systems and processes that enable Product Group to work effectively with third-party suppliers.
You'll oversee the operational supplier lifecycle, ensuring supplier onboarding, offboarding, data, tooling and operational processes are delivered consistently and efficiently. By maintaining trusted operational insight and continuously improving the service, you'll help Product Group maximise the value of its external capability.
WHY JOIN THE TEAM
You'll be part of the team that keeps Product Group's third-party operations running smoothly. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Procurement and suppliers, you'll help create a reliable, scalable operational service that enables teams to engage external partners with confidence.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
- Manage the operational supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and supplier administration.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, operational tooling and trusted third-party data.
- Produce operational reporting and insight on supplier activity, performance and external investment.
- Coordinate supplier operational reviews, renewals and key lifecycle activities.
- Monitor operational performance, identifying issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Improve operational processes, automation and data quality across the third-party service.
- Partner with Product, Engineering and suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient operational service.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Experience managing supplier operations within a technology or digital environment.
- Experience operating supplier lifecycle processes and maintaining operational controls.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using operational data to generate insight and improve services.
- Experience working with operational systems, workflows or service management tooling.
- Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset with the ability to simplify and optimise operational processes.
DESIRABLE
- Experience working in fast-paced, technology-driven agile environments.
- Knowledge of supplier or third-party management practices.
- Experience using Jira, Smartsheet or similar operational platforms.
- Experience developing operational reporting, dashboards or management information.
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation.
