We are currently seeking an Export Compliance Officer to join our Export Compliance Center of Excellence team in our Yeovil facility. Reporting to the Export Compliance Manager, your focus will be to manage export controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, work with other teams within Honeywell Aerospace to provide training, expect advice and raise awareness of export controls and resolve complex export issues. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key Responsibilities
- Work as ambassador of export compliance to raise awareness with internal stakeholders and provide them with specialized advice and training
- Maintain framework to ensure compliance with export control laws, provide support to ensure compliance
- Be engaged with all staff through all their pursuits, providing guidance on applicable export control laws and impact on product, processes and staff involved
- Be part of internal control environment by performing routine compliance checks
- Partner up with internal stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements of export compliance touchpoints to IT infrastructure and other aspects of daily operations
- Support processes for submitting and obtaining necessary export licenses from the government
- Manage export transaction in SAP / GTS
- Stay engaged with other security and export control professionals in the region, exchange know how and develop best practices
- Continuous learning as regulatory environment changes, implement necessary measures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or two years of corporate experience in lieu of a degree
- Fluent English (C1 and above)
- Exposure to export compliance through work experience, or an interest in compliance themes and willingness to learn
- Global mindset and resilient personality
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
