Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, experienced and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant & Key Holder to join our team at the Mini Rodini flagship store in Notting Hill.
As a Sales Associate, you will be an ambassador for the brand, delivering an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the store’s sales, presentation and day-to-day operations.
You will have a genuine passion for customer service, strong attention to detail and an excellent eye for visual merchandising. You will also be confident taking responsibility for the store when management is not present.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and provide a personalised, high level of customer service.
- Build relationships with customers and confidently advise them on products, sizes and styling.
- Drive sales through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge and appropriate upselling.
- Create a welcoming shopping environment that encourages customer loyalty and repeat visits.
- Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards in line with Mini Rodini’s brand guidelines.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organised, well-stocked and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Open and close the store as a Key Holder, following all company procedures.
- Take responsibility for the store and support the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Process sales and transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Assist customers with phone and online enquiries when required.
- Support with deliveries, stock replenishment, inventory management and stocktakes.
- Handle customer queries, returns and claims professionally and efficiently.
- Balance customer service with daily operational and maintenance tasks.
- Support the Store Manager with other tasks and responsibilities as required.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store and individual sales targets.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of retail experience, ideally within fashion, premium retail or childrenswear.
- Previous Key Holder experience is preferred.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with confidence engaging with different types of customers.
- Experience or a good understanding of visual merchandising and shop floor presentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Reliable, responsible and comfortable taking initiative.
- Positive attitude, flexibility and a strong team spirit.
- Basic numeracy skills and confidence handling transactions and stock counts.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- An interest in fashion, sustainability and textiles is a plus.
