Nursery Practitioner – Level 3
Up to £27,700 per year | 40-42 Hours per Week
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery providing high-quality care and education for children from 3 months to 5 years.
The nursery offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are given the security and encouragement they need to explore, build confidence and develop at their own pace. Through a balance of purposeful play, engaging activities and everyday experiences, the team supports children's social, emotional, physical and educational development throughout their Early Years journey.
We're looking for an experienced practitioner who enjoys being actively involved in nursery life and is passionate about creating positive experiences that help children feel happy, secure and excited to learn.
What We're Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
- Previous experience working with young children within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Confidence planning activities appropriate to children's individual ages and developmental stages.
- Ability to observe children's progress and use this to support their next steps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Your Role
- Provide warm, responsive and high-quality care throughout the nursery day.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Encourage children's curiosity, confidence and independence through play.
- Support children's individual routines and emotional wellbeing.
- Observe and monitor children's development and contribute to their individual learning journeys.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can flourish.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent care and education.
- Maintain clean, organised and inviting learning environments.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.
