The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our exceptional team. This is a full-time, permanent position working 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00), including a weekend rotation.
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the home and lead the care team in the manager's absence.
- Manage the safe handling and administration of medications in accordance with policy.
- Act as a responsible key holder, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate person-centered care plans through accurate documentation.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the care team, conducting regular supervisions and 1:1 meetings.
- Coordinate with external Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) and healthcare professionals.
- Model excellence by utilising professional and impactful communication across the team.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting (required).
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred, or working towards).
- A dedicated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional care and fostering interpersonal growth across all areas of service.
