Job Duties:
· Load programs, set up and operate CNC Turning machines to produce precision-engineered components.
· Produce first-off components for inspection and approval before commencing production.
· Ensure all components meet engineering drawings and quality standards, recording inspection results where required.
· Monitor machine performance to maximise productivity and maintain quality throughout production.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Carry out routine machine maintenance within your capabilities.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and quality.
· Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
· Experience using Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems.
· Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
· Experience machining a range of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, brass and plastics, is advantageous.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
