Job Overview
Are you an experienced early years professional with a passion for high-quality childcare and leadership? Divine Childcare Services LTD is looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our new setting opening soon in delivering outstanding care, education and able to join the team from August, 2026.
About the Role:
- Support the daily management of the nursery and step into the Manager’s role when needed.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children.
- Lead and motivate a team of early years practitioners.
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in the Manager’s absence.
- Maintain high standards in line with the EYFS, Ofsted, and health & safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Support staff development, training, and appraisals.
- Manage nursery records, rotas, and administrative tasks.
- Welcome new families and promote the nursery’s ethos.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Childcare (or higher).
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- 2+ years' nursery experience (preferred)
- 2+ years' childcare experience (preferred)
- Excellent leadership, time management, and people skills
- Passion for learning and team development
- Paediatric First Aid certified
- DBS
What we offer:
- Competitive salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per annum

- Monday to Friday, 7am - 6pm
