Join our dynamic team as a Furniture and Graphics Installer, where your skills will bring spaces to life through expert assembly, installation, and visual presentation. Responsibilities
- Carefully unpack, assemble, and install furniture according to design specifications and safety guidelines
- Install graphics, signage, and visual displays with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure installations meet expectations and deadlines
- Conduct site assessments prior to installation to identify potential challenges or hazards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively during installation processes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of packaging materials responsibly
- Document completed work through photos, reports, or checklists for project records
Days not out on site will involve assisting in manufacture of furniture, preparation of graphics for future installations and any other duties necessary for the smooth running of the installation department. Experience and skill in bench joinery would be beneficial.
The candidate will have a full clean driving licence, be willing to work way from home and stay overnight when required.
Working as a team with the other fitters you will have the ability to balance the workload between fitting & preparing the next installation at the premises.
Skills
- Proven experience in furniture assembly, installation, or related trades
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper tool usage
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site
- Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, or installation instructions clearly
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy items and working in various positions for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
- Knowledge of graphic installation techniques and materials is a plus
- Full clean driving license
- Valid CSCS card preferable
- NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification in joinery / carpentry preferred
