We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Order Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the order processing cycle. This position requires strong clerical skills, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all orders, ensuring that data entry is precise and timely.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any potential issues.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including filing, clerical duties, and office organisation.
- Support the finance team by entering data into system for invoicing and payment tracking.
- Carrying out quality control by checking orders before they are dispatched from the warehouse
- Assist in regular stock takes to ensure that the stock on the order system matches the physical products in the warehouse
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent typing skills with a keen eye for detail in data entry tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
