AER Stafford Ltd, based in Norton Canes, is looking for an exceptional Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for the business, both in person and over the telephone, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional impression of the company. The successful candidate will be well-presented, confident, courteous, and possess an excellent telephone manner.
You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing post, handling confidential information, coordinating meeting room and pool car bookings, arranging refreshments for visitors, and providing administrative support across various areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet all visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Operate the reception telephone system and monitor/log all calls and voicemail messages.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the office, particularly within reception, meeting rooms, and boardrooms.
- Screen and direct telephone calls, enquiries, and requests appropriately.
- Provide administrative support to various departments within the business.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing post.
- Coordinate bookings for meeting rooms, boardrooms, and the company pool car.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of refreshments for customers and visitors.
- Maintain and order stationery supplies for all business areas.
- Handle confidential information with discretion at all times.
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role.
- Friendly, polite, and professional manner.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
- Experience using calendars, booking systems, or email management systems.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

37 hours per week Mon - Thurs 08.00-16.30 & Fri 08.00-13.00.
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
