Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of AI, Digital & Innovation, you’ll be responsible for driving the adoption of AI across ivolve by identifying high‑value opportunities, redesigning processes and translating business needs into practical AI‑enabled solutions.
The role will work with functional leaders, operational teams, subject matter experts and IT colleagues to prioritise AI use cases, shape pilots, support implementation and measure benefits. This role acts as the bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring AI is used safely, responsibly and with clear human accountability while helping colleagues build confidence in new ways of working.
Your Responsibilities
- AI Use Cases & Business Engagement
- Partner with leaders and colleagues across Operations, Quality, People, Finance, Commercial and other functions to identify where AI can reduce admin, improve insight, increase efficiency or support better decision‑making.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand current processes, pain points, risks and opportunities.
- Prioritise AI opportunities using agreed criteria such as business value, risk, complexity, data readiness, user readiness and scalability.
- Translate business problems into clear requirements, user stories, process maps, workflow designs and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a visible AI use‑case backlog and support decisions on what should be piloted, paused, scaled or stopped.
- Work with Early Adopter champions and business owners to validate use cases and define success measures.
- Ensure the needs of operational colleagues and the people we support are considered when shaping AI opportunities.
- Identify dependencies on data, systems, security, suppliers, policies or business process change.
- Prepare clear summaries and recommendations for functional leaders and relevant governance groups.
- Capture lessons learned from pilots and feed them into the wider AI roadmap.
- Process Redesign & AI‑enabled Workflows
- Analyse and redesign business processes to identify where chatbots, agents, automation or workflow tools could be used safely and effectively.
- Work closely with AI Solutions, Digital, Data and IT teams to design practical AI‑enabled workflows and controlled pilots.
- Support the creation of agent instructions, approved knowledge sources, human review points and process controls.
- Test AI workflows against real examples and edge cases, capturing issues, failure modes and improvement actions before wider release.
Adoption, Change & Benefits
- Support the launch and adoption of AI tools by creating practical guidance, training materials, prompt examples and colleague communications.
- Work with Early Adopter champions and functional teams to build confidence, capture feedback and share learning.
- Define expected benefits for each AI use case, including time saved, quality improvement, risk reduction, colleague experience or commercial value.
- Track adoption, outcomes and lessons learned, ensuring benefits and risks are reported clearly.
- Help business owners embed AI‑enabled changes into day‑to‑day ways of working.
Governance, Risk & Responsible AI
- Ensure AI use cases follow agreed governance, data protection, information security and acceptable‑use requirements.
- Work with IT, Data, Quality, People and other relevant teams to assess risk, permissions, data sources and human approval points.
- Ensure every AI workflow has a named business owner, reviewer, support route and review cycle.
- Escalate risks, concerns or inappropriate use of AI and support continuous improvement of AI controls and guidance.

Essential
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, change delivery, digital transformation or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business process mapping, requirements gathering and benefits tracking.
- Practical understanding of how AI, automation, agents, chatbots or workflow tools can support business improvement.
- Ability to work confidently with functional leaders, subject matter experts, frontline colleagues and technical teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business problems and data into clear priorities and actions.
- Able to produce clear documentation, process maps, user stories, guidance and training materials.
- Flexible and resilient, able to work in an emerging area where priorities, tools and opportunities will evolve quickly.
- Proactive, outcome‑focused and able to drive change without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Understanding of responsible AI, data protection, confidentiality, information security and the need for human accountability.
