We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food production.
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in presentation.
- Manage food safety protocols, maintaining compliance with health regulations and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
- Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary trends.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to minimise waste and control costs.
- Train new staff members in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Demonstrable leadership abilities with experience managing a diverse team of kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
- Experience in food production planning, inventory management, and cost control.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
