Job Description
The Hospitality assistant will be supporting and monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event and support the Cafe.

Salary: £14.80 hourly
Responsibilities:

Monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guests, ensuring all service is efficient, professional and of the highest quality, while maintaining a genuine and positive demeanour throughout the event and clearing service areas as required.

Ensuring that there is clean furniture, dining tables and chairs available for guests, maintaining high presentation standards and ensuring hospitality rooms, catering storage areas and service spaces are left clean and tidy.

Clean and polish all cutlery, glasses and crockery for future events.

To set up, prepare and serve hospitality requirements in multiple styles, from coffee meetings to banquet dinners, ensuring all food, beverages and service items are available and reporting shortages to your line manager.

To be able to work without supervision, take initiative over duties and tasks and carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.

To work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages.

To be able to use coffee machines.

Ensuring that any linen and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.

Promote good teamwork and work in a friendly, efficient manner.

To attend all training and development courses as requested by Searcys.

To be confident in communications and interactions with all guests and clients.

To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including (but not exclusively) The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations, and all Company and Client policies and procedures.

To always represent Searcys in a professional manner through your behaviour, appearance and knowledge.
