Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Garage Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet customers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate service bookings using computer systems
- Perform data entry tasks accurately into programmes such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications
- Maintain organised records of customer information and service histories
- Handle general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and email correspondence via Google Workspace
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and other clerical responsibilities as required
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Previous office experience or administrative background preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated organisational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a friendly demeanour
