Due to continued success and a growing portfolio of secured projects, Hartland Fire are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding team.
Hartland Fire are a busy and well-established business delivering a diverse range of works across the UK, from large, high-quality joinery and fit-out projects to specialist maintenance and remedial contracts. As a certified and accredited fire door installation company, we work with a broad range of clients, including Ministry of Defence sites, government properties and commercial organisations.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee multiple remedial and replacement projects across MOD and other client sites throughout the UK, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
**This role will require regular nationwide travel and a need to work away from home (Mon to Fri) on a regular basis.**
You'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to coordinate projects from inception through to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects across various locations.
- Plan, programme and monitor project delivery to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and resources effectively.
- Manage project budgets and monitor commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction throughout each project.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively.
- Produce regular progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support the continuous improvement of project delivery processes and operational performance.
About You
The successful candidate will have previous Project Management experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You'll also have:
- Experience managing construction, refurbishment, maintenance or fire protection projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The flexibility to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
Security Requirements
As many of our projects are delivered on Ministry of Defence sites, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check and obtain the appropriate security clearance.
