Duties
- Conduct thorough surveillance of event premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential security threats.
- Manage access control by verifying credentials, issuing passes, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing for suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements throughout the event duration.
- Conduct regular patrols around the venue to ensure all entry points, exits, and sensitive areas are secure.
- Enforce event policies and communicate clearly with attendees and staff to promote a safe environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft and unauthorized access.
- Ability to perform basic first aid procedures confidently in emergency situations.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during events.
- Valid certifications in security or relevant training such as First Aid are advantageous but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
