A hands-on finance role with real impact
You’ll play a central role in keeping financial operations accurate, efficient and commercially useful across a growing group of companies. From day-to-day processing through to supporting reporting and governance, your work will directly influence how the business performs and scales.

What you’ll be doing
Keep finance running smoothly
- Process purchase invoices, expenses and payment runs with accuracy and pace
- Raise and manage sales invoices and credit notes
- Reconcile bank accounts and support cashbook management
- Maintain supplier and customer records
- Support credit control and resolve queries across the business
Support reporting, insight and decisions
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Support intercompany reconciliations and group reporting
- Help track job profitability and margin performance
- Contribute to management reports and KPI analysis
Strengthen controls and governance
- Support financial controls, policies and approval processes
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Maintain accurate records in line with governance standards
- Help identify ways to improve efficiency and processes
Be a trusted point of contact
- Support teams across the business with finance queries
- Work with suppliers, customers and auditors
- Assist with onboarding new suppliers and customers
- Get involved in projects, system improvements and change initiatives
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles
- Proficiency using accounting software and Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Pay: £31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
