We are looking for a hardworking, proactive and friendly Estates and Facilities Assistant to join a school on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a varied hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running and maintenance of the school site. You will help ensure the facilities are safe, welcoming and ready for students and staff, while supporting with general maintenance, repairs and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general maintenance and DIY tasks across the school site
- Supporting with routine repairs and reporting any issues
- Helping to maintain the school buildings, facilities and grounds
- Ensuring facilities are safe, clean and well presented
- Supporting with the day-to-day management of site facilities
- Assisting with opening and closing the school site
- Responding to maintenance and facilities requirements
- Working closely with the Site Supervisor and wider team
- Helping create a welcoming and well-maintained environment for students and staff
About You
- Previous experience in maintenance, estates, facilities or a similar role
- Good range of practical DIY and maintenance skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues
- Reliable, friendly and approachable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy school environment
