Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Ganarew House Care Home. This vital role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort and safety are prioritized. Your contribution will help us uphold our commitment to providing a high-quality living experience.
Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Day Shifts
- Every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties throughout the home to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assist with laundry and general tidying as required.
- Ensure all communal areas and residents' rooms are kept tidy and welcoming.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to promote a safe environment.
- Support the team in organizing activities that enhance residents' quality of life.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Uphold confidentiality and dignity of residents at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring nature with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the home.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures is advantageous.
