Sage Payroll 50 Administrator
(Monday to Thursday – 32 hours per week)
The Company:
Due to continuing growth, a leading animal rendering business is looking for an enthusiastic, and experienced Part-Time Payroll Administrator. There are 170 employees across three group payrolls.
We are seeking a Part-Time Sage Payroll 50 Administrator to join our team. The role is vital in ensuring accurate payroll processing and supporting our human resource function.
Duties:
- Manage and process payroll using Sage Payroll 50 software to ensure timely and accurate wage and salary payments with three weekly payrolls and a small monthly payroll
- Complete HMRC submissions including FPS and EPS
- Maintain employee records and update data as required
- Collate and reconcile timesheets and hours worked from the clock system
- Support data entry tasks related to payroll and human resources documentation
- Assist in the analysis of payroll data for reporting purposes
- Provide support for HR related administrative tasks
- Manage auto-enrolment to workplace pensions
- Produce payroll reports, P60s and P45s
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Sage Payroll 50 or similar payroll software
- Strong understanding of human resources processes and systems
- Excellent data entry and analysis skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
- Experience of Microsoft packages particularly Excel, Word and Outlook essential
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as and when necessary
A good awareness of deadlines and a calm manner are essential

Basic hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm with including half an hour for lunch but there may be flexibility on start and finish times
Starting salary dependent on experience in the region £28k to £30k (Pro-rata)
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
