Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Gas Training Instructor specialising in CCN1 and other domestic gas certifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programmes to aspiring gas engineers, ensuring they meet industry standards and certification requirements. Duties
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions on CCN1 and other domestic gas certification modules, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and assessments to ensure relevance and compliance.
- Assess trainees’ progress through practical demonstrations and theoretical examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe learning environment by implementing health and safety protocols during all training activities.
- Support trainees with guidance on certification pathways, career development, and industry best practices.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and certification achievements in accordance with organisational policies.
- Stay current with changes in gas safety regulations, industry standards, and certification requirements through continuous professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Gas Training Instructor or in a similar role within the domestic gas sector.
- Hold valid CCN1 certification along with other relevant domestic gas qualifications recognised by industry standards.
- Demonstrable knowledge of current gas safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage learners of varying experience levels effectively.
- Experience in developing training programmes, assessments, and educational materials is desirable.
- Prior experience delivering both theoretical instruction and practical demonstrations is essential.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards whilst fostering a positive learning environment is required.
