Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment that supports the development of young minds. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that promote growth, creativity, and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that stimulate children's learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by providing guidance and encouragement.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education in Early Years is required.
- Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide activities and support team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's development.
