Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations. This role involves supervising daily activities, managing team members, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Assistant Manager will play a vital part in maintaining the organisation’s reputation for quality and efficiency, supporting the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company policies
- Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Support in training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations
- Assist in inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies as needed
- Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring excellent service levels at all times
- Cash Handling
- Opening & Closing the building
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Experience in food safety standards and compliance regulations
- Familiarity with food production processes and restaurant service procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Leadership qualities coupled with excellent communication skills
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of hospitality
