Industrial Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for their Specialty Steel Manufacturing Client in the Oldbury area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing role within a fast-paced and well-established engineering and manufacturing environment.
Shifts Available:
Days:
- Weekly rotating shifts
- Morning Shift - Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday: 14:00 – 22:30 (4-day week)
- Be advised that weekly paid hours are 38 for days & 32 for Nights
Pay Rate:
- £16.43 per hour / £29,903 annual salary Days
- Company bonus scheme paying up to 10% per year of annual salary
Job Duties:
- Operating a variety of Band Saw Machines
- Using overhead cranes to move materials around the factory
- Operating FLTs to transport materials to the goods-out area
- Conducting quality inspection checks using measurement tools
- Full training provided for all aspects of the role
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Valid FLT licence or Overhead Crane licence is beneficial (but not essential)
