Role Title- Appointment Maker / Lead Generation Officer
Role Purpose
The Appointment Maker / Lead Generation Officer will support Triangle Care Group and UMS Group by generating new business leads, securing appointments with commissioning bodies, and building sustainable relationships with Local Authorities, NHS teams, social workers, and other external partners. The postholder will work full time and act as a key driver for business growth across both organisations, ensuring services are consistently positioned as high quality, compliant supported living providers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Appointment Setting
- Make high quality outbound calls to wide range of B2B industry sectors in health & social care, commercial and other service sectors to introduce Triangle Care Group and UMS Group’s services.
- Confidently explain service models, pathways, and supported living solutions in a clear, professional, and persuasive manner.
- Use technical selling techniques to identify needs, match service capabilities, and position both organisations as preferred providers.
- Convert initial interest into booked appointments for senior management by demonstrating strong product knowledge and value based selling
Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build rapport quickly over the phone and maintain ongoing professional relationships with commissioning teams and social care professionals.
- Tailor conversations to different stakeholder groups, demonstrating an understanding of commissioning priorities, referral processes, and local authority structures.
- Follow up consistently to nurture leads and move prospects through the pipeline.
- Support the creation of marketing materials, service brochures, and promotional content aligned to both organisations’ branding.
- Provide intelligence on market trends, commissioning priorities, and local authority needs.
- Work closely with management teams to ensure leads align with service capacity and strategic growth plans.
Service Knowledge & Professional Representation
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of supported living services, pathways, compliance expectations, and organisational strengths.
- Confidently answer questions about service capacity, support models, staffing, and regulatory standards.
- Represent Triangle Care Group and UMS Group with professionalism and credibility in all phone and email communications.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Manage a structured pipeline of leads, ensuring all interactions are logged accurately.
- Track conversion rates, appointment outcomes, and lead progression, providing weekly updates to management.
- Use data to identify opportunities, gaps, and emerging trends in commissioning activity.
Business Development Support
- Support senior leaders by preparing background notes, lead summaries, and appointment briefs.
- Contribute to the development of promotional materials and service information used during technical selling.
- Attend occasional networking events to complement phone based engagement.
Compliance & Record Keeping
- Ensure all communication, data handling, and lead management complies with GDPR, safeguarding principles, and sector regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, appointments, and outcomes for both organisations.
- Escalate any concerns relating to vulnerable individuals or safeguarding immediately in line with organisational policy.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Registered Managers, Service Managers, and Business Development leads across Triangle Care Group and UMS Group.
- Provide weekly reports on lead activity, appointment outcomes, and pipeline progress.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of referral pathways and engagement processes.
Person Specification
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in lead generation, appointment setting, and business development, ideally within the care sector, supported living, domiciliary care, or health & social care commissioning.
- Demonstrable success in building relationships with Local Authorities, NHS teams, or social care professionals.
- Experience working with structured lead pipelines.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working directly within supported living or adult social care services.
- Knowledge of CQC frameworks, commissioning structures, and local authority referral systems.
- Experience attending provider forums or networking events within the care sector.

- Excellent communication skills, confident, professional, and able to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and deadlines across two organisations.

Additional Information
- Hours: Full time
- Location: Based across Triangle Care Group and UMS Group offices, with the ability to travel.
- Salary: £30,000-£35,000.00 dependant on experience plus commissions and bonuses.
- Contract: Permanent
Pay: £30,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
