Role Overview
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic After School Club Leader / Manager to oversee and lead our after-school provision. This is a key role for someone who is passionate about childcare, enjoys working with children, and can take responsibility for delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging activities.
You will be responsible for leading daily sessions, supporting staff, and ensuring the club runs smoothly while maintaining safeguarding and childcare standards at all times.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and managing after-school club sessions
- Planning and delivering engaging activities (games, crafts, learning-based play)
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of all children
- Supervising and supporting staff/assistants
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers
- Maintaining registers, records, and safeguarding procedures
- Supporting a positive, inclusive and structured environment
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a childcare or school setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Confident leadership and decision-making skills
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ability to manage a busy environment with energy and care
