Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in holiday lets or hospitality settings is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are valued.
Days are mainly Fridays
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste disposal
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Restock toiletries, towels, and other amenities as required
- Assist with laundry services when necessary
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Must have own transport
