Personal Assistant/Teaching assistant/Support Worker Required
We are looking for an energetic, caring and reliable individual to support our family and help care for our child with additional needs.
About the Role:
The role involves supporting children with autism and complex additional needs both at home and in the community. The successful applicant will be patient, proactive, and able to build positive relationships while promoting independence, communication, and wellbeing.
Duties may include:
- Supporting children with daily routines, activities like arts and crafts, swimming, bike rides, sensory activities, messy play, outdoor play, and community outings.
- Assisting and supporting with meal prep, light household duties, personal care, independence and life skills, encouraging engagement, confidence, and social development through play and structured activities
Essential Requirements:
- Caring, patient and understanding nature with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Reliable and trustworthy with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people is beneficial. Experience supporting children with autism, additional needs, sensory processing difficulties, communication difficulties, or learning disabilities would be an advantage but is not essential.
Training:
Full training will be provided, including guidance on the children's individual needs, communication methods, therapy programmes, sensory strategies, and support plans.
Hours:
Flexible hours available, including before and after-school, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

Competitive rate of pay depending on experience, will be discussed.
Pay: £6,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
