Principal Practitioner Psychologist - Secondment Opportunity (12-18 months)
We are delighted to offer the exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced psychologist to work into the the Swansea Bay Peri Natal Service across our Regional Mother and Baby Inpatient Unit and community service
This is a senior position and as such the individual will be expected to provide clinical leadership for psychological matters relating to this specialty alongside provision of a direct and indirect psychological service to this vulnerable group of people and their supports.
The Psychologist will be expected to provide a specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention service in this specialty as well as support colleagues working with this client group. As such they will be expected to provide a combination of direct and indirect work.
They will be expected to provide teaching, training, consultation and supervision to colleagues as and when required and lead on Team and Network formulation, Risk Assessment and Management for individuals with complex and specialist needs.
They will be expected to contribute to the research and development agenda in assessment, care and intervention.
As a senior clinician they will be expected to provide clinical leadership in relation to psychological matters and contribute to service development alongside colleagues.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
