Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Time Dental Receptionist to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and administrative skills, with previous office experience in a dental setting being essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing patient appointments, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the overall functioning of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling efficiently using practice management software
- Handle all incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a courteous and timely manner
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and processing payments securely
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Manage stock levels of reception supplies and organise necessary orders
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the reception area
- Support administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document organisation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a dental environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software , desirable Dentally
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
- Previous office experience is essential; experience in healthcare is highly advantageous
- A professional attitude with excellent customer service skills

This role includes weekend shifts on rotation, the working hours are 8.15am till 5.30pm.
