Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all waste is disposed of properly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Help with the organisation of deliveries and stock rotation to maintain freshness.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential.
- A strong willingness to learn about food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
