Role: Field Service Engineer
Location: Across the North West
Hours: Mon - Fri | 8am - 4pm
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join an energy systems business in Bolton.
This is a role suited to someone with a mechanical, electrical, motor vehicle or related engineering qualification, as you will be carrying out maintenance, fault diagnosis and reactive repairs on customer systems.

- £38,789 per year
- Monday – Friday | 8am – 4pm
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and public holidays

What will you be doing as a Field Service Engineer?
- Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing reactive repairs efficiently and effectively
- Monitoring the performance of customer systems
- Identifying ways to improve reliability and productivity
- Reducing equipment downtime and unnecessary material usage
- Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
- Providing a high standard of customer service
- Participating in a 24-hour callout rota
What will you need?
- ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies or a related discipline
