Due to continued growth, Drainfix Services Limited is looking to recruit an experienced Drainage Repair Crew consisting of two operatives who already work well together.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established drainage team to join a growing company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality drainage repairs across London and the South East.
We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused engineers who can work independently, maintain high standards of workmanship, and take pride in delivering first-class service.
The Role
As a Drainage Repair Crew, your duties will include:
- Reactive drainage clearance and emergency call-outs.
- High-pressure water jetting.
- CCTV drainage investigations.
- Drainage excavations.
- Underground drainage repairs and pipe replacement.
- Installation of new drainage systems.
- Manhole repairs and installations.
- Root removal and descaling operations.
- Accurate completion of digital job reports and photographs.
- Maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
Experience in CIPP patch lining and full-length drain lining is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
Essential Requirements
Both applicants should have:
- Minimum 3 years' drainage industry experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence (at least one operative; ideally both).
- Experience in drainage excavations and repairs.
- Experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- CCTV drainage survey experience.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently as a two-person crew.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
Desirable Qualifications
- CIPP Patch Lining.
- Full Drain Lining (Inversion Lining).
- NADC qualifications.
- NRSWA Street Works.
- Confined Space Certification.
- High Pressure Water Jetting Certification.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid qualification.
Out-of-Hours Call-Out
The successful crew will be included in our out-of-hours emergency call-out rota, with additional payments for being on call and attending emergency works.
