Job Description:
We are a busy embroidery and printing business looking for a reliable and flexible Production Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the day-to-day production of customer orders, including both embroidery and printing tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and operation of embroidery and printing machines.
- Produce high-quality embroidery and printed items according to customer specifications.
- Using the heatpresses to apply prints to garments
- Prepare garments and materials for production (hooping, trimming, pressing, etc.).
- Ensure all work meets our quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Support other areas of production when needed.
Requirements:
- This position requires standing for long periods of time.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
- Willingness to learn embroidery and printing processes (training provided).
- Flexibility to work across different areas of production as required.
- Positive attitude and team player.
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience in embroidery or garment printing.
