At Shot Scope, we're developing next-generation sports simulation technology that combines our expertise in golf with real-time 3D graphics and real-world geospatial data.
Using our proprietary pipeline, we procedurally generate expansive, playable 3D environments that run seamlessly across mobile platforms and our own launch monitor hardware. We're looking for a Senior Technical Artist to lead the visual technology behind the platform, defining its rendering, optimisation and overall visual quality from the ground up.
If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, building scalable rendering systems and creating visually impressive real-time experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve our Unity Universal Render Pipeline (URP) rendering pipeline.
- Develop and optimise shaders, materials and lighting for high-performance mobile platforms and dedicated Shot Scope hardware.
- Build and optimise procedural terrain, vegetation and environmental systems.
- Create tools and workflows that support and enhance our automated content pipeline.
- Design showcase environments and interactive experiences that demonstrate the platform's capabilities.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to optimise performance and solve complex technical challenges.
- Act as Shot Scope's Unity and Technical Art specialist, defining standards, improving workflows and documenting best practices.

- Proven experience optimising graphics for mobile or embedded platforms.
- Excellent understanding of GPU instancing, LOD systems, culling and rendering performance optimisation.
- Experience working with procedural or data-driven content pipelines.
- Experience creating tools and workflows that improve development efficiency.
Desirable
- Experience working with geospatial or GIS datasets.
- Experience with compute shaders or GPU-driven rendering techniques.
- Knowledge of Unity Addressables and asset streaming.
