Job function:
To plan and deliver exhibitions and events. The role will have a primary focus on coordinating priority exhibitions, including managing timelines, organiser requirements, stakeholder communications, event documentation, branded materials and pre- and post-event activity to maximise Return on Investment.
To provide support for marketing communications activity where required, ensuring events and campaigns are delivered professionally, deadlines are managed effectively and return on investment is maximised.
Note: this is a fixed term role for 6 months.
Duties:
- Project manage and coordinate exhibition and event activity, including timelines, action tracking, organiser liaison, exhibitor portal requirements, stakeholder coordination, internal deadlines, and escalation of risks.
- Coordinate event logistics, including stand requirements, supplier communications, branded assets, collateral, graphics, photography and video requirements, travel and accommodation planning, and on-site support.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support exhibition and event activity and agree on measures of success.
- Provide flexible support across wider marketing activity, including content formatting, website and blog updates, social media scheduling, collateral amendments, and campaign administration.
- Support reporting on the engagement, effectiveness, and return on investment of marketing and exhibition activities, helping to track outcomes, follow-up actions, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Complete training and development activities to maintain and enhance relevant skills and knowledge.
Skills and Abilities:
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting or delivering B2B exhibitions, events, or similar marketing projects.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to organise own workload, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident working with internal teams, suppliers, event organisers, and external partners.
- High attention to detail, particularly when managing documentation, deadlines, forms, and event requirements.
- Ability to identify and escalate risks appropriately.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting marketing, events, exhibitions, or project administration within a B2B environment.
- Positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach to problem solving.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems (CMS).
- Experience using Canva.
- Copywriting and content formatting experience.
- Understanding of marketing principles, campaign administration, and performance reporting.
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
