Bricklayers required for new build houses. 8.00-16.30pm for shift. Saturday work available. Up to £220 per day. Must hold a CSCS card. On site parking. Please contact 07930 693200.
Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks and stones in a precise and structurally sound manner
- Mix mortar and spread it evenly to secure bricks and stones
- Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and jointers to shape and align bricks
- Cut bricks to size using power tools or a masonry saw
- Construct walls, arches, and other structures according to blueprints or specifications
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Brick Mason
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, jointers, etc.
- Experience working with power tools and masonry saws
- Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and mortar
- Familiarity with roofing techniques for bricklaying projects
