Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at a busy and well known hotel. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all areas of the hotel rooms and common areas
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all fixtures are spotless and well-maintained
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred although full training will be given.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary
