We are seeking an Attendance Welfare Assistant to join our team at Jubilee High School, part of Bourne Education Trust.
As Attendance Welfare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing, with a high level of accuracy, effective and efficient administrative and clerical support within the school alongside an excellent and proactive front-line customer service to families and visitors. The Attendance Welfare Assistant will take on specific duties and responsibilities which may include Attendance, Inclusion or other appropriate specialist roles. These roles should be considered to be flexible and areasof specialism may be expected to change according to operational need.

Contract: Part-time, permanent, 37 weeks per year (Term-time); 36 hours per week
(Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm)
Salary: Support Staff Surrey PS5 (£28,545-£30,580 FTE) Actual £23,298-£24,959
Ideal start date: September 2026
Responsible to: Headteacher
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide effective specialist support in your designated area
- Contribute to research and data analysis and to provide information appropriate and relevant to your current specialism
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations based on your findings
- Liaise and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of your current specialist area of responsibility
Requirements include:
Essential
- An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
- Experience working in an office environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
