Drakes is a 20 bedroom quintessential British seaside hotel set on the Sea front of Brighton, and is part of A Curious Group of Hotels
Here at Drakes we are looking for a room attendant to join our super housekeeping team, working 5 days , from 10am - 2pm. These shifts will include week days and weekends, which are shared amongst the team. We are looking for team members who are great at being part of successful team, willing to learn and have previous hotel experience in housekeeping.
Duties:
- Perform housekeeping cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness of assigned bedrooms.
- Clean all corridors and public areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap and all linen.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping team is essential.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required, such as laundry bags.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
