Location: Redditch (B97)
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 DOE + bonus scheme
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday + on-call

Alexandra’s Home is opening its first children’s residential home in Redditch, and we are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the home through registration and beyond.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape a home from the ground up and create an environment where children feel safe, valued, supported and able to thrive.
The home is a beautiful four-bedroom property, registered for three children with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD). Our ambition is to provide more than high-quality care. We want children to experience a positive, nurturing childhood, build confidence, develop new interests and create lasting memories.

We believe in supporting and trusting our managers, providing the resources and guidance they need to succeed without unnecessary micromanagement.
An opportunity to progress
Alexandra’s Home is at the beginning of an ambitious growth journey, with plans to open additional homes over the coming years.
This role could therefore be an excellent opportunity for an established Registered Manager looking to take ownership of a new service, as well as an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to step up into Registered Manager level and has the right experience, qualifications and ambition.
For the right person, there is genuine potential to grow with the organisation and progress into senior leadership as the business develops.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.
- At least two years’ experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager, or relevant experience as a Deputy Manager ready to progress into Registered Manager level.
- Experience of opening and registering a new Ofsted Children’s Residential Home, or demonstrable experience relevant to the registration process.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and the Children’s Homes Regulations.
- The leadership, resilience and commitment required to build an Outstanding home where children can genuinely thrive.
- A passion for achieving excellent outcomes for children and young people.
