Business Support Co-Ordinator
Location: Blidworth, Nottinghamshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,420 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Business Support Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a varied role that is central to the successful delivery of our projects, providing administrative and operational support across the business.
The Role
As our Business Support Co-Ordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support to the management and delivery teams, acting as the link between our operational teams, customers, utility network operators, local authorities and contractors. You will ensure information is managed accurately, deadlines are met and projects progress efficiently.
This role would suit someone with previous experience within the utilities, construction or civil engineering sectors who understands the importance of compliance, customer communication and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the management and delivery teams.
- Liaise with customers, utility network operators, local authorities, contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare job packs and process completed job forms
- Assist with the coordination of street works permits, noticing requirements and traffic management information.
- Schedule site visits, surveys and installation works.
- Maintain accurate project records, trackers and document management systems.
- Support compliance activities, ensuring project documentation is complete and up to date.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and customer expectations are exceeded.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and administrative systems.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a business support, project support or administration role within the utilities, construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience coordinating gas, water, electric or multi-utility projects is highly desirable.
- An understanding of utility connections, street works or permitting processes would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in dealing with customers, contractors and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook and Word).
