Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ceiling Fixer/Dry Liner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing ceilings and drywall linings with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating durable, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for a variety of commercial and residential projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install ceiling panels and drywall linings using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or fasteners
- Follow schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Use welding, masonry, carpentry, and plastering skills as needed for framing or finishing touches
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, roofing, and fabrication teams to coordinate work seamlessly
- Maintain a clean workspace by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure durability and finish standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall installation, ceiling fixing, or related construction roles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
- Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, and construction painting is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical schematics accurately
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Construction experience across various trades including carpentry and plastering is highly desirable
