Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
- Support individuals with their daily routines by helping with eating, medication reminders, and hydration needs
- Assist in developing and following personalized care plans to meet each individual’s specific health and wellbeing requirements
- Maintain clear communication with team members, residents, or clients to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns promptly
- Support transportation needs by driving clients or residents to appointments or activities safely and responsibly
- Document care activities accurately using IT systems and ensure all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations
- Foster a positive environment by engaging in meaningful conversations and encouraging social interaction
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to operate IT systems for documentation and care planning purposes efficiently
- Valid driving license with experience in safe driving practices to support home care or transportation duties
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude that promotes trust and comfort
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols relevant to healthcare environments
