About the Role:

As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients, prospecting new leads, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service. Your role will focus on delivering tailored insurance solutions while adhering to FCA compliance and company standards.
Main duties and responsibilities
Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying needs, and offering appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
- Ensure accurate presentation of insurance products to clients and close deals efficiently.
- Manage your own sales performance to meet key targets for new business, renewals, and cross-selling.
New Business Development:
- Proactively source new leads and opportunities within the commercial insurance market, focusing on businesses that would benefit from our comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Build a robust pipeline of new business through direct prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing industry relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients, ensuring your portfolio of business continues to grow and diversify.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure all business activities comply with FCA regulations, company conduct policies, and best practices.
- Handle complaints effectively and in line with company policies.
- Be an advocate for Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and ensuring customer needs are at the forefront of all transactions.
- Maintain compliance with data security and confidentiality policies, including GDPR and record-keeping.
Professional Development & Team Collaboration:
- Engage in continuous professional development, including training, assessments, and learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Account Handler team to provide seamless service to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and underwriters to enhance business growth.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of administrative tasks, prioritising client communication and ensuring timely responses.
- Work within health and safety guidelines to maintain a professional, clean working environment.
