About Origin City
Farm Shop by Origin is a newly refurbished Deli and coffee shop in West Smithfield, located close to our sister restaurant, Origin City.
Our food offer reflects the same pasture-to-plate approach as the restaurant, using organic, pasture-raised heritage breed meats from our family farm in Argyll and salmon from Loch Fyne. The Deli serves freshly prepared sandwiches, pastries, coffee and a carefully selected range of delicatessen products.
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Barista to join the team at Farm Shop by Origin.
This is a hands-on, guest-facing role for someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality hot and cold drinks and delivering warm, friendly and efficient service. You will prepare coffee and other beverages, serve made-to-order items, grab-and-go food and pastries, take accurate orders and payments, replenish displays and help keep the Deli clean, organised and ready for service.
You will also support food preparation and presentation where required, ensure products are correctly stored, labelled and displayed, and follow our food safety, allergen and cleaning procedures. As part of the role, you will develop strong knowledge of our products and their provenance so that you can confidently answer questions and make recommendations to guests.
We invest in training for our team members, including coffee standards, service, product knowledge, allergens, food safety and the story behind our business. For this reason, we are looking for someone who can commit to a full-time position and develop with the team over time.

- You have a strong interest in coffee, food and guest experience, or a clear willingness to develop your knowledge through training.
- You are confident speaking with guests, explaining products, answering questions and making recommendations in a natural, accurate and friendly way.
Pay and Benefits
