Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Contract: Term Time Only
Salary: £28244.67 per annum + Sodexo Benefits
Are you an experienced Catering Manager who enjoys leading a team and delivering great food and service?
We’re looking for a confident and passionate Catering Manager to take ownership of the catering operation at Oasis Academy John Williams in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a great work-life balance, with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern, no weekend working and a term-time-only contract.
What you'll be doing
As Catering Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school catering operation, leading your team and ensuring pupils and staff receive a high-quality food service every day.
You'll be responsible for:

Leading, motivating and developing the catering team.

Overseeing food preparation and service.

Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen standards.

Managing stock, budgets and food costs.

Working closely with the school to deliver an outstanding service.

Introducing creative menus, themed events and activities to increase pupil engagement.

Building strong relationships with the school, pupils and Sodexo colleagues.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:

Has previous catering management or supervisory experience.

Is confident leading and motivating a team.

Has a passion for food and customer service.

Has good knowledge of food safety and allergen management.

Is organised, proactive and confident managing a busy catering operation.

Has excellent communication skills.

Experience within education catering would be desirable but isn't essential.
