Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods to meet quality standards
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and proper handling procedures
- Serve customers efficiently at our hole in the window concept counter, ensuring friendly and prompt service
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change
- Keep the workspace clean and organized by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Support team members with general duties such as restocking supplies, setting up displays, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue
Experience
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred and essential
- Ability to use an oven safely and cutting salads with precision.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well as part of a team with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
