We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Maintenance person to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair and general practical tasks across our business premises to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.
The ideal candidate will be a practical problem-solver who can work independently, have a can-do attitude and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs across various sites.
- Assemble furniture, fixtures and equipment as required.
- Keep the premises clean, safe and well maintained.
- Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Liaise with and supervise external contractors when required.
- Assist with any other ad-hoc practical tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance, handyman or facilities role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel between company sites as required.
- Must live within 30 minutes of Chorleywood.
Full time 08.30am to 17.30pm minimum of 40 hours per week.
Salary dependent on experience.
30 days paid holiday including bank holidays (pro rata).

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
